Carroll County Times
The Carroll County Times began its journey on October 6, 1911, originally known as The Times. It was established by George Mather, whose father owned the well-known Mather's Department Store in Westminster, MD. In 1947, George sold The Times, and in 1956, the newspaper evolved into what we now know as the Carroll County Times.
