The lawsuit was settled for $250,000, and no other stipulations were included in the agreement. Hemingway sobbed during the news conference as she talked about experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder from the experience and remarked that today marks a day for healing to begin.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — A Myrtle Beach hotel that was damaged from high winds on Thursday did not have an active business license, according to city spokesperson Mark Kruea. Crews responded to the Summer Wind Hotel on Ocean Boulevard after the roof collapsed during the afternoon. Kruea said the building had a permit to do repairs and construction was ongoing. (WPDE) — It was a howling good time and for a good cause over at Barefoot Landing Sunday. it was the second annual Rock n’ Paws, which helped to promote local animal shelters. The event featured live music throughout the weekend-long event. Local animal shelters were also on hand to raise awareness about their shelters, offer information, and of course, possibly help someone find their fur-ever friend.
