The 2025 NFL Draft is next week, and the Detroit Lions have been showing some heavy interest in a position that you might not think they'd have heavy interest in. That's the tight end spot. The Lions obviously have Sam LaPorta, Brock Wright, Kenny Yeboah, and Shane Zylstra at the moment, and that seems good to go, but the Lions may be looking to get more out of their tight ends going forward with bringing in John Morton and Tyler Roehl. Detroit Lions fans want something so bad that they can taste it. We all know what that something is; it's an edge rusher. Specifically, an edge rusher opposite Aidan Hutchinson, who can be a premier player at the position. They also want that player to be picked first and nothing else makes sense to them. The problem is that the Lions just don't feel the same way. Make no mistake, they probably want an edge rusher, and they might take one in the first round.
