Mandatory minicamp is now in the rearview mirror for the Chicago Bears with players now set to be off for the summer until training camp kicks up in late July. The last couple weeks in Halas Hall have been encouraging for both sides of the ball while getting to know the new coaching staff. Slowly by surely, things are coming together for this group of players learning the new schemes being implemented. And as a result, team drills have largely been one-sided with the defense showing out. Wednesday was a different story to end practice.

Heading into the 2025 season, the Chicago Bears are sitting in a much better spot when it comes to how the offense and defense should look under new head coach Ben Johnson and new defensive coordinator Dennis Allen. Offensively, the unit plans to be all about precision and focusing on the details to get the results. Defensively, the unit's mindset is all about being aggressive and physical.
