On Thursday, we finally got to hear from some of the new assistants on the Chicago Bears coaching staff under head coach Ben Johnson with the offseason program continuing to roll on over the next few days. The new staff has finally gotten the chance to see the majority of the returning players in person and were willing to share some thoughts on the players they will be inheriting for the 2025 season.

Like every team over the last few weeks, the Chicago Bears have been busy dialing up pre-draft visits with various top prospects. However, Top-30 visits are also a great opportunity to meet with, and scout, potential undrafted free agents as well. After the draft ends next Saturday, it's an all out free for all with teams looking to sign UDFAs to finish rounding out the 90-man roster heading into the summer.

With less than two weeks until the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off in Green Bay, it seems like the Chicago Bears are content playing the waiting game with the 10th overall pick. The Bears have met with few first-round prospects on Top-30 visits, showing the team has faith in their draft board falling as desired. With Gordon and star boundary cornerback Jaylon Johnson both extended, the Bears have two top players in the secondary locked in for the long-term future. Safety Jaquan Brisker, another 2022 second-round selection, could be the next in line to receive a new deal with the Bears. Brisker is entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2025 but has suffered three concussions in three years, which complicates things.
