Every day I see articles giving advice to entrepreneurs and small business owners on how they can increase the visibility of their brand with little or no money. Is it ever appropriate to fire a highly productive employee? The question itself might seem counterintuitive. Why would you ever want to let go of your best employee? It may or may not come as a surprise that a worker can be technically excellent at their job while also being a drain in other areas. A great but toxic employee may bring in money, but they can also dampen the spirits of other employees.

With the wealth of competitors out there today, it’s important to set yourself apart by providing exemplary customer service. In fact, according to a Zendesk report, 75% of consumers are willing to pay more for a product or service if the customer experience is good.
