(WFRV) – Breakfast on the Farm is a tradition to celebrate June Dairy month in Wisconsin. Brown County’s host farm, Wayside Dairy, has been producing high quality milk since 1863. The farm is currently home to around 2,350 cows. They are milked three times a day, producing the equivalent of 400,000 milk cartons every single day!The family cares for 3200 acres of crop land which includes corn for silage, alfalfa, wheat and soybeans.

Tony Evers today kicked off June Dairy Month by celebrating and highlighting Wisconsin’s dairy industry, farmers and producers, and the state’s proud dairy heritage in his weekly radio address. Wisconsin’s dairy industry is a significant part of the state’s cultural heritage and a central driver of the state’s economy.

They say you do not have to meditate for a long time, to make an impact. Kerry also finds success in doing active meditation, like walking or even doing the dishes. They shared some breathwork activities, and how physical items like candles can aid in your meditation journey.

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has announced the six top candidates to become the 78th Alice in Dairyland. The candidates are Allison Foster, Michelle Stangler, Mikayla Flyte, Natalie Roe, Olivia Lulich, and Sarah Hagenow. Prior to being selected, the top candidates completed an application and preliminary interview.
