I've known Dawn Staley since she was a freshman at Virginia. She has always exuded class and grace and this moment is no exception. To shout out the local media after today's thumping is first class all the way. But that's who Dawn Staley is.

South Carolina has to shave the deficit at least in half by the end of the third or it's a wrap. They have to make Connecticut feel the pressure.

Seems obvious, but South Carolina has to stay within reach of Connecticut to make the fourth quarter relevant. The Huskies historically put games away early. It would be interesting to see how they react to pressure if the Gamecocks can keep it close or have a second half lead.

I'm stunned that @TerpsWBB got a top 16 seed and will be hosting NCAA first and second round games. Maryland got blasted in the Big Ten tournament and appeared to have little chance to host. Go figure.

Here's two questions @TerpsWBB fans: Should Angel Reese attend her brother's Senior Day ceremony tomorrow in College Park? What kind of reaction will she get if she does?

I know the feeling. I covered a triple overtime Maryland-Virginia triple overtime ACC tournament final. By the time it ended, I was scrambling on deadline. Yeoman's work, my man. Keep it up!

Fairly or unfairly, these 2 minutes will be something of a referendum on Lamar Jackson, as he will have to do something he has rarely if ever done, namely take the Ravens team downfield in a pressure situation and trailing.
