AbstractAlmost all high-grade gliomas, particularly glioblastoma (GBM), are highly migratory and aggressive. Migrasomes are organelles produced by highly migratory cells capable of mediating intercellular communication. Thus, GBM cells may produce migrasomes during migration. However, it remains unclear whether migrasomes can influence GBM migration and invasion. In this study, we observed the presence and formation of migrasomes in GBM cells.

AbstractThis retrospective cohort study used Taussig Cancer Center’s Myeloma Patient Registry to identify adults with multiple myeloma diagnosed between January 2017-December 2021. Electronic health records data captured time from diagnosis to initial prescription fill for oral antimyeloma medications and initiation of facility administered or oral antimyeloma treatment.

AbstractThe comprehensive understanding of propagation patterns of extreme precipitation events (EPEs) is essential for early warning of associated hazards such as floods and landslides. In this study, we utilize climate networks based on an event synchronization measure to investigate the propagation patterns of EPEs over the global land masses, and identify 16 major propagation pathways.
