In this study, fresh peripheral blood and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue were retrospectively collected from 15 pLEC patients for WES and RNA-seq integration analysis. All patients were diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University between June 2016 and June 2020. To rule out nasopharyngeal carcinoma lung metastasis in individuals, head CT, nasopharyngoscopy, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were performed.

During Christmas 2024, four students and their parents from KL International School of Chongqing Bashu (KLIS) visited the Namunyak Centre in Kenya. They brought donations from charity auctions, including sanitary pads, underwear, and essentials, along with self-funded gifts like pencils, candies, soccer balls, and their artwork. The Namunyak Centre, founded in 2019 by Chongqing entrepreneurs Tang Lin and Yuan Lin, supports local girls in need.

Muscovy duck parvovirus (MDPV), duck adenovirus type 3 (DAdV-3), adenovirus type 4 (AdV-4), duck plague virus (DPV), duck hepatitis virus (DHV), and duck tembusu virus (DTMUV) were retrieved from clinical samples within Fujian Province and are being conserved by the Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine of the Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. RNA and DNA extraction was performed using the Animal Total RNA/DNA Isolation Kit from TianLong (Suzhou, China).

AbstractNonlinear dynamical systems exposed to changing forcing values can exhibit catastrophic transitions between distinct states. The phenomenon of critical slowing down can help anticipate such transitions if caused by a bifurcation and if the change in forcing is slow compared with the system’s internal timescale. However, in many real-world situations, these assumptions are not met and transitions can be triggered because the forcing exceeds a critical rate.

We propose and numerically demonstrate a photonic time-delay reservoir computing (TDRC) system exhibiting enhanced parallel task processing performance, where an optically injected vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) under random distributed optical feedback acts as the reservoir computer.
