Catch up with three of the latest stories coming out of the city of Keller. 1. Keller City Council denies planned 22-lot housing developmentA planned 22-lot housing development in Keller was denied by City Council during a July 2 meeting by a 4-2 vote. The item was tabled from the June 18 meeting and ultimately voted down. Council members Shannon Dubberly, Greg Will, Chris Whatley and Tag Green voted to deny a zoning change from commercial to planned development with patio homes.

Work is set to begin this year on a $2.22 million project along Tinker Road in Colleyville. What’s happeningThe project was initially set in the city’s 2014 Water and Wastewater Master Plan. Construction will begin in the fall to install about 2,570 feet of water lines along Tinker, and it will also create drainage improvements. The work will reconstruct Tinker from Pleasant Run to SH 26 and install a 5-foot sidewalk on the north side of the road.
