    Since his sudden and unceremonious axing from the Australian Radio Network (ARN), Mitch Churi has been spending his time ruminating on, well, many things. From the initial shock of being told he no longer had a job with the station he “gave his entire youth to”, Churi told Mediaweek, he now views the event as an opportunity. There was, however, one person in particular Churi revealed was “beyond kind and gracious” after learning of his redundancy: Kyle Sandilands.

    Mitch Churi, part of the KIIS Network’s 3PM Pick Up alongside Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne, and his national nightly broadcast The Night Show will add another string to his bow when he joins the cast of & JULIET for one night only, Thursday June 6. Churi does have a theatre background studying theatre and improvisation in New York City at the Atlantic Acting School.

    22 January 2023 · NewsThe KIIS and iHeart networks have revamped the 3PM Pick Up for 2023 which will now, simply be called, The Pick Up – but  at the exciting same time of 3pm, weekdays. According to ARN The Pick Up, “Will bring an infectious energy to the network through the team’s real-life chat centered around life, love, and relationships. “Equipped with quick wit and heart-on-sleeve authenticity, The Pick Up, will have you leaning into those speakers with honest conversations.

    ARN has announced the latest show to join the KIIS Network in the 3pm timeslot, THE PICK UP with Britt, Laura and Mitch. The new show comes after KIIS FM axed the 3PM Pick Up with Kate Langbroek, Monty Dimond and Yumi Stynes at the end of last year.
