A holiday musical set in the heart of Southeast D.C. is putting the District's culture on the main stage. DC Black Broadway's "Annie Costia Beat Ya Feet" is a twist on the classic "Annie" that amplifies go-go music and the voice of the Don't Mute DC movement, Dr. Lovail Long, the playwright and CEO of DC Black Broadway, said. The Washington Commanders will honor legendary cornerback Darrell Green with a jersey retirement ceremony Sunday. No player has worn the number 28 since Green played his last game for Washington in 2002. The Commanders will officially retire his number during halftime of the game against the Carolina Panthers. Green, 64, told News4 he's still absorbing the honor and grateful to receive it. "It's been just really incredible. It really has," he said. "You have to know me.
