On March 22, a girl, in her mid-teens, was walking on a footpath near Zembard Lane, when she was approached by the offender. A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested on the day of the offence. He has since been released on conditional police bail while the investigation continues. Immediately after the incident the victim approached another member of the public (pictured) who helped her to safety.

2 1/1 MULTIPLE South Somerset roads are closing in and around Ilminster starting as soon as next week. To accommodate the Food & Craft Market, Silver Street will be closed from 7.30am to 4.30pm (between Market Square and Court Barton) on Saturday, June 7. The west end of Silver Street can be accessed via Berryman's Lane and public transport will not be affected. All residents are requested to move their vehicles before 7am on Saturday.

Context Gamesmaster café and Punky Dory, at 39 Silver Street, Ilminster, are both part of Silver Lining Internships, which specialises in providing supported work experience and education for young adults with disabilities who need help to achieve independence.

6 1/1 A PERSON has been rushed to hospital following an incident in Taunton town along East Street. Multiple ambulances were spotted along East Street Taunton on Thursday, May 29 at around 2.45pm with two parked outside Primark and one parked outside Marks and Spencer's.
