INTRODUCTION The negative consequences of landscape disturbance (here used to describe the combined effects of habitat loss and fragmentation and other interrelated processes (e.g., edge effects)) on pollination and plant reproduction are often greater as the areas of vegetation fragments, or sizes of plant populations, decline (e.g., see studies by Aizen & Feinsinger, 1994; Cunningham, 2000; Delnevo et al., 2020; Donaldson et al., 2002; Jennersten, 1988; Lamont et al., 1993).
