    Cloudy and cold this evening, temperatures in the mid 30s.  Cloudy with patchy fog developing overnight, lows in the low-mid 30s.  Cold and gray tomorrow, highs in the mid 30s. High pressure and a strong subsidence inversion will keep us cold and gray through Wednesday. A weak front will slide over the ridge Thursday with a slight chance for a few stray showers, mainly in the morning. The ridge returns Friday morning with mainly dry weather and highs in the upper 30s-near 40.

A ridge of high pressure continues to build in the Pacific Ocean producing a cool northwesterly flow over the region. We will continue to deal with areas of late night/early morning low clouds and fog with local freezing fog.
