    Communities in Grant County have received a total of nearly $4.75 million in Community Crossings funds to repair streets and bridges. Community Crossings is a matching grant program the state launched in 2016 that partners the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) with municipalities and counties across the state. Cities, towns and counties with populations under 10,000 receive 75/25 percent match funding and those with populations over 10,000 receive 50/50 percent match funding.

    After nine months of litigation, Marion Superior Court 4 denied Dr. William David Moore’s verified corrected petition for judicial review, upholding the Indiana Medical Licensing Board’s decision to deny Moore’s voluntary license surrender, revoke his license and impose more than $65,000 in fines. Moore first filed a civil case against the licensing board February 2024 after his final hearing before the board in December 2023.
