RIVES, Tn. — In a Facebook post on Saturday afternoon, Rives Volunteer Fire Department asked residents to leave while they can amid widespread flooding. "We are asking that all residents inside Rives now while you can drive out. Since this is such widespread flooding we do not have the boat resources that we had last flood. If you stay we may not be able to get you out," the organization posted.

PADUCAH - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports I-24 westbound in Marshall County was blocked this morning after a crash involving a commercial vehicle. The blockage was at the 28-mile marker. Both lanes have been reopened on Interstate 24 westbound at the 28-mile in Marshall County.

PADUCAH - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports I-24 westbound in Marshall County is blocked after a crash involving a commercial vehicle. The blockage is at the 28-mile marker. KYTC reports traffic is backed up across the Tennessee River Bridge. The left-hand lane will be blocked intermittently as emergency crews continue to clean up. KYTC says it's estimated to take approximately three hours to reopen.

BARLOW, Ky. - A boil water order has been issued for the city of Barlow. The order is in effect until further notice, according to the city's Facebook page. On Saturday morning, the city reported the water system was down, and that crews had identified the issue and were working to fix it. The city says crews has restored part of the city's water system, while maintenance continues work on the rest.

On Facebook, the Rives Volunteer Fire Department is asking people to evacuate if they normally get flooding. The agency encourages residents to put their name and phone number on their door before they leave, so crews can get in contact with them. "Don't wait till it's too late," the agency said on its Saturday morning post.
