The Body Shops (or abbreviated as TBS) is a cosmetics company founded by Dame Anita Lucia Roddick or known as Anita Roddick in 1976 in Brighton, England. Since its founding until the point of bankruptcy, TBS has never compromised on the values of justice, especially for the environment and society. This is stated in Anita’s own values as an activist who cares about the environment, women and children. These values have been translated by Roddick in the founding of TBS to this day.

The European Union (EU) enacted a set of standards in 2016 to regulate data flow to the blue continent. This configuration–which took effect in May 2018–known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is already a standard or benchmark for countries worldwide. GDPR is applied in the European Union countries and the European Economic Area, consisting of the EU countries including Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

China–as the United States’s longstanding trade partner–has grown massively in a way that the United States perceived as unfair trade practices.
