In a tragic incident that unfolded on Wednesday evening, a 21-year-old youth hailing from Doda district, identified as Imtiyaz Hussain, lost his life after being struck by an unknown vehicle in the Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu. The young man was subsequently rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

In a distressing incident, a mini load carrier bearing registration number JK06B 6540 overturned on its way from Hambal to Goha in the Marmat area of Doda district. The accident occurred on a road that has recently drawn attention due to its deteriorating condition. Even more concerning, the vehicle was transporting at least 18 local students at the time of the incident. The injured students were promptly shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for further medical treatment.
