Why it matters: North Texas summers are getting hotter and longer, with heat arriving early and lingering into the fall. This summer is already predicted to be slightly hotter than typical through July, according to the National Weather Service. Driving the news: Highs tomorrow through Saturday are forecast to be in the low-to-mid-90s, about 10 degrees above normal for this time of May.
