The asymmetrical distribution of auxin supports high intensity blue light (HBL)-mediated phototropism. Flavonoids, secondary metabolites induced by blue light and TRANSPARENT TESTA GLABRA1 (TTG1), alter auxin transport. However, the role of TTG1 in HBL-induced phototropism in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) remains unclear. We found that TTG1 regulates HBL-mediated phototropism.

An efficient Rosa hybrida ‘John F. Kennedy’ somatic embryo (SE) system was established based on our previous approach as published recently, and different embryogenic cultures could be obtained by same one tissue culture experiment under same initial material and culture conditions [23]. After cotyledonary somatic embryos (CSE) were subcultured on P medium for 30 days, clusters of somatic embryos propagation could be observed (Fig. 1a).

We report the complete telomere-to-telomere genome assembly of Oldenlandia diffusa which renowned in traditional Chinese medicine, comprising 16 chromosomes and spanning 499.7 Mb. The assembly showcases 28 telomeres and minimal gaps, with a total of only five. Repeat sequences constitute 46.41% of the genome, and 49,701 potential protein-coding genes have been predicted. Compared with O. corymbosa, O. diffusa exhibits chromosome duplication and fusion events, diverging 20.34 million years ago.
