    The Midwestern State University ceramics area has a new addition to the Juanita and Ralph Harvey School of Visual Arts. Construction on a new wood-fired kiln began May 30 and was completed Tuesday. The lead on the project was nationally renowned kiln builder Ted Neal, a professor of ceramics at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. "I've been building kilns like this for 25 years, and there's just a handful of people that do it," Neal said.
