Tragedy struck Mumbai Harbour as an Indian Navy speedboat collided with a civilian ferry, resulting in 13 fatalities. The Navy vessel, undergoing engine trials, reportedly suffered a technical malfunction, leading to the collision with the Neel Kamal ferry near Karanja. Swift rescue operations involving Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine Police saved 99 passengers. Passengers being rescued after a ferry capsized off Mumbai coast when a Navy craft crashed into it.

Mumbai: The charge of attempt to commit culpable homicide (Section 110 of BNS) has now been invoked against the 40-year-old hotel chain owner from Worli who allegedly tried to run over police personnel at a nakabandi, crashed his SUV into a security barricade, two police vehicles, a BMW, an auto and three bikes, and led police on a dramatic 30-minute chase in Andheri East in the early hours of Nov 28.

Mumbai: Delhi-resident Aditya Pandit (27), arrested for allegedly abetting suicide of 25-year-old Air India pilot Srishti Tuli, was remanded to police custody till Monday after he completed four days custody on Friday. Pandit was arrested by the Powai police on Nov 26, after they suspected something amiss as he entered the house without calling the police and had called a locksmith to open the door, only to find Tuli hanging from the ceiling.

TrendingMumbai: Powai police have arrested the partner of a 25-year-old Air India pilot, who was discovered dead in her rented Andheri (East) residence on Monday, for allegedly abetting her suicide. The pilot, Srishti Tuli, was found suspended from a data cable at her residence. Her family has accused her partner, Aditya Pandit (27), of ill-treatment and driving her to self-harm. Pandit has been sent to police custody till Nov 29. A police officer said they did not find any suicide note in her flat.
