A dog training facility in Hedge End has asked the council for permission to carry on operating. Lorraine Crawford, owner of part of Lower Grove Farm’s agricultural field in Upper Northam Drive, Eastleigh, has submitted an application to Eastleigh Borough Council to convert the land into a permanent dog training school. The planning application said that the dog training school had been there for several years under temporary planning permission, which was granted.

A new unit could be installed in a Hamble nursery to provide more childcare spaces for the area’s children. Hamble Early Years Centre has submitted planning applications to Eastleigh Borough Council to expand its site and install a new unit in its Satchell Lane, Hamble. The Early Years Group is an independent day nursery group that opened its doors in Hampshire in 2017. Currently, the brand has five centres in Hamble, Dibden, Yateley, Winchester and Milford-On-Sea.
