What does due diligence look like? The Climate Change Commission has recently issued its ’Progress report: National Adaptation Plan (August 2024)’[1], the first in a repeating series of two-yearly reports to assess adaptation progress. While the report comes at a very early stage in the implementation of the National Adaptation Plan, it highlights that adaptation is not happening on the scale, or at the pace, that is needed.
