1. IntroductionThe COVID-19 pandemic inspired massive scientific and clinical research efforts that introduced and distributed vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 within a uniquely accelerated time frame. As of July 2023, more than 13 billion vaccine doses have been administered globally, over 98 million of which were administered within Canada [1].
