10 1/10 FAT splodges of rain heralding the arrival of Storm Darragh scattered across the windscreen as we left Chepstow towards Tredunnock. The wind buffeted trees and bushes along the way. A storm was brewing. Government warnings about Armageddon barked from our mobiles simultaneously as we fought our way out of the car in the worsening wind, through the heavy rain to the welcoming front door of the convivial country restaurant pub.
