New Nebraska football commit Trae Taylor on Thursday apologized for stirring up Illinois fans with a last-second pump fake during his commitment ceremony. Earlier in the day, Taylor, a four-star quarterback from Carmel Catholic (Ill.), tricked Illini fans by standing up, placing an Illinois hat on his head, and saying, "I'm going to stay home and go to Illinois."That's when the ceremony, which was live streamed by 247Sports, took a turn.

Runners in Sunday’s 48th Annual Lincoln Marathon can expect relatively comfortable conditions for race day. At the 7 a.m. start time near 14th and Vine streets, temperatures are projected to be in the low 50s — ideal for the early miles — before creeping into the mid-60s by 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The weather service calls for Sunday's high to eventually reach the mid 70s in the afternoon.
