Mizzou men’s basketball assistant returns to role after beating cancer Mizzou assistant coach David 'Dickey' Nutt will return to his role as an assistant coach for Tiger men's basketball in the 2025-26 campaign, after being cancer last year. Nutt joined head coach Dennis Gates' staff in April 2022 as an assistant. After spending a season on the sidelines in Columbia, he was diagnosed with cancer in Feb. 2024 and then declared cancer free of Oct. of the same year.

Mizzou catcher earns First-Team All-SEC selection Following her final season in the black and gold, Mizzou catcher Julia Crenshaw earned the first postseason honor of her career, on Friday, when the Southeastern Conference announced that she has been named to the 2025 First-Team All-SEC. The O'Fallon, Missouri native had quite a final campaign in Columbia, as she was Ms. Consistency at the dish.

Mizzou gives up its lead late to succumb to second-straight loss to Kansas Mizzou baseball just couldn't hang on long enough. The Tigers held a one-run lead over rival Kansas, heading into the eighth inning of Tuesday night's game, but allowed the Jayhawks to put up a two-piece to eventually win the game 6-5. With the win KU, secured the series sweep over MU, after beating the Tigers by six runs in Lawrence on April 29. Skipper Kerrick Jackson's team found itself in a hole early on in the loss.

Mizzou softball’s season ends in a shutout loss in the first round of the SEC Tournament Despite a stellar outing from sophomore pitcher Marissa McCann, the Mizzou softball team couldn't provide the run-support necessary to move past the first round of the SEC Tournament, on Tuesday. The Tigers fell to Ole Miss, 1-0, to end their season. McCann gave her team every opportunity it needed. She threw for 5.0 innings and only allowed one earned run on five hits, while striking out three batters.

FOLKS, #Mizzou baseball gets its first SEC win of the season, 9-6 over Texas A&M. Tigers came back from being down 6-3 in the ninth to win it in College Station. It's the first win in conference in 356 days for MU.
