London Concours 2025 saw a 1993 Bugatti EB110 SuperSport take top honours at the ninth running of the event, held in the heart of the capital on June 3-5. The Best in Show Bugatti, VIN001, was built for the Brunei royal family, and it’s one of 33 SuperSport models produced of which 18 are still known to the Bugatti club.

Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025 saw a ‘home’ victory for Alfa Romeo, a much-storied Scuderia Ferrari-run P3 Monoposto entered by Germany’s Auriga Collection. Held over the weekend of May 23-25 in Cernobbio on the shores of Italy’s Lake Como, Villa d’Este was blessed with scorching weather and a similarly hot selection of cars. Following judging and a drinks reception on the Friday, the palatial grounds of the Villa d’Este hotel were packed.

A Maserati Ghibli II that is believed to have been the donor car behind the 2020 Project Rekall restomod proposal, has been found for sale on a Facebook group. The car was put together by Garage Italia, the company founded by Lapo Elkann, the great-grandson of Fiat founder Giovanni Agnelli – and board member of Ferrari and head of promotion for the Fiat Group. Project Rekall was revealed on Maserati’s now-defunct Fuoriserie Instagram account as a modern take on the Shamal (pictured above).
