When Alex Knox threw out a runner for the third out in the seventh inning, the Panthers earned a 2-1 win over Glencoe-Silver Lake for the first championship in team history. “There’s no better feeling than this, going out here, being able to compete and win state,” senior Luke Sems said.

    SAINT MICHAEL, Minn. (KTTC) – The track & field season is over for Class A athletes, but as select few ended the year on top of the podium. At the Class A State meet in Saint Michael on Wednesday, several area athletes rose to the top of the class. In girls triple jump, Rushford-Peterson/Houston’s Aubryana Boldt leaped the furthest distance. Her jump of 37 feet and 1.5 inches edged out Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton’s Ellie Sosa by 3.5 inches, earning the gold medal.
