Power was restored to Keene State College’s campus at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday following an outage that lasted over an hour, according to a KSC Owl Alert sent to the campus community. The alert urged those still without power to call Campus Safety at 603-358-2228. The outage was caused by a squirrel that was electrocuted at the switchgear behind the Owl’s Nest 3 building, according to Assistant Director of Facilities Services Colin Burdick.

For many students, finding themselves placed on the Dean’s List is an immense source of pride and honor, but for others, specifically transgender and gender-nonconforming students, it can bring about confusion and harm. The Dean’s List is a publication released at the end of every fall and spring semester that lists the names of students taking 12 credits or more who achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher, according to Keene State’s website.
