TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are partnering with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation Tuesday to help fight childhood cancer. On June 3, the Bucs held their annual “Cut and Color Funds the Cure” to benefit the foundation, which is based in Tampa. The team and staff members — including Head Coach Todd Bowles, COO Brian Ford, and General Manager Jason Licht — will have their heads and/or facial hair shaved or dyed red to help raise funds for the charity.

According to the Clearwater Police Department, the body of Edman Eric Gleed, 84, was found floating near the Clearwater Pass Bridge close to Sand Key on Nov. 29, 1993.

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — TECO Energy reported thousands of people were left without power as storms blew through Tampa and the surrounding areas. As of 12:40 p.m. the TECO outage map reported 6,086 customers without power. Earlier in the day, over 8,000 people did not have power. Most of the outages were concentrated in Tampa, specifically Ybor City, Hyde Park, Tampa Heights, and the Seminole Heights neighborhoods.
