Some of them go to their polling stations very early to cast their ballots, defying the cold harmattan winds, so that they can go to their farms. Mr Baba Alembey told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that he turned up very early, to enable him to go to his farm as harvesting of the produce was still ongoing.

    The Ghana Police Service has arrested four persons in connection with the shooting incident at Nyankpala in the Northern Region, which led to the death of one person and the injury of another. The suspects are Majid Issah, Fodi Issiage Kamara, Yakubu Simalia, and Alhaji Bashiru Mohamed. DGN Online understands, that the injured victim is currently receiving medical care, while the body of the deceased has been taken to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.

    The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has indicated that the NDC will secure over 150 parliamentary seats in the December 7 general election. “It’s going to be an absolute majority. I believe we will have more than 150 Members of Parliament,” he stated. According to him, it’s obvious that the NDC will win the December 7 general election.
