The Appeals Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has decided to expedite the process of confirming the I-League champion, bringing forward the meeting from April 28 to April 12. Churchill Brothers, the provisional leader in the I-League, and second-placed Inter Kashi are the two teams in contention, with the latter expecting to be awarded three points from a match against Namdhari played in January this year.

Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo announced on Wednesday that he will be a playable character in the popular Japanese fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Fatal Fury, created by Takashi Nishiyama, the designer of the original Street Fighter, will be one of the titles at the Esports World Cup 2025, set to be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 8 to 21.
