When Terry and his wife bought a property on Great Barrier 18 years ago, the plan was to split their time between there and the mainland. “We intended to stay on the island for eight months at a time but once we’d settled in, we decided we didn’t want to go back. We ended up living out there fulltime for 16 years,” Terry recalls.

Renowned breast surgeon-turned-property developer John Harman has sold his multi-million-dollar Kiwi bach. Ray White agent Heather Walton declined to reveal the sale price but said it was “well over” the CV of $4.9 million. The deal is not due to settle until next month and OneRoof understands from separate sources that the price is above $7m.
