The bodies of a cob swan and two mallard ducks were discovered by members of the public at Island Lodge in Tottington. “It’s a sickening act of cruelty,” said Patrick Jackson, wildlife care manager of Kirklees Valley Wildlife Rescue “A member of the public who found the swan contacted us at 6.30am on Saturday.
