    A man’s body has been found at a property in Sunderland with two people arrested in connection with the incident. The man was discovered at around 11.30pm on Wednesday (June 25) at a property on West Moor Road. Miss Claire Herbert, who worked at Red Rose Primary School in Chester-Le-Street, went before the professional conduct panel after being accused of getting into a physical altercation with a child which included biting, scratching and slapping the youngster.

    Northumbria Police’s decision to dispose of documents relating to the miners strike and the so called Battle of Orgreave has been described by the leader of the House of Commons, Lucy Powell, as “deeply worrying”.
