I know I'm a Geelong supporter and my views are one eyed so I'd like to invite an open forum as to whether or not football supporters believe that Leigh Colbert was treated fairly by Geelong fans at 'Shocklands' in round 4. My view is YES HE WAS1. I think he showed a lack of character leaving Geelong when he did, and heading out of the country and not facing up to the media. 2. He was given the captaincy as a 24 year old.

#1 Looking at Coleman medal stats since 1955 the longest period without a 100 bag is the current one of 15 years. Prior to that it was 13 years from 55 - 67. If 80 goals was the new standard we would have been running on the field and celebrating Fevola in 2009, Kennedy in 2016 and Curnow in 2023. I know there is a mystical quality about the century, but is it ever achievable again in the modern game?...

gocatsgoI was wondering when someone would querie Antrobus. He's in my team because he is the best rover I've seen. Because of injury he never produced his best form at VFL level but for North Adelaide he was briliant. On more than 1 occasion he thrashed John Platten to the point where Platten would start in the pocket so that the Ant could be tagged. The same with Robran (Barrie) in the middle. He is the best footballer I have ever seen bar none.
