    Through a collaboration between Marshall Economic Development, the Prysmian Group, Marshall ISD and the Marshall News Messenger, Marshall High School junior Morgan McGuire was named as August's Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month on Wednesday. The CTE Student of the Month award is sponsored by the Prysmian Group and includes a plaque with the winner’s name, a certificate to recognize Harrison’s accomplishments, and a $250 gift card on behalf of Marshall Economic Development.

    The Elysian Fields Elementary School recently kicked off their annual Read to Ride program for third grade students at the district. The Read to Ride program helps to provide a brand-new bicycle, along with helmet and pads, to every eligible third grade student who improves his or her grade level reading by at least one level in the academic year. The district took to social media to celebrate the annual program starting for the 2024-25 academic year.
