LINDALE — Behind blazing bats and dominant pitching, Hallsville defeated Crandall, 11-1, in Game 2 of the Class 5A Division 2 regional semifinals to secure the sweep and advance to the regional softball finals. The first inning was all about pitching. Crandall's Jill Prda and Hallsville's Ella Baird allowed a runner on but were able to get out of the inning unscathed.
