    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - After a very active week of weather - including thunderstorms with tornado warnings, flooding, wind and rain - things will calm down this week, after the passage of a cold front. However, this cold front has driven very chilly air over the region. Temperatures started in the lower and middle 30s this morning over our area, whereas upper 20s and lower 30s will be fairly common during the morning hours of tomorrow.

    (WSAZ) - High pressure continues to develop cooler fall like conditions over the region. With the northerly winds continuing as a result of this high pressure, we’ll continue to see highs in the 70s today, with overnight lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s during the overnight hours of tonight. Heading into the day tomorrow, we’ll be looking at highs in the middle and upper 70s continuing. As high pressure works to the south and east, southerly winds will increase by the end of this week.

    (WSAZ) - After the passage of a cold front, cool air is flooding into the region, allowing highs to only reach into the upper 70s today! As high pressure works in from the north, northerly winds will only increase, and continue to reinforce late-September like air into the region. Highs will only reach into the mid 70s tomorrow afternoon, with overnight lows dropping into the upper 40s and lower 50s.

    (WSAZ) – Low pressure has finally made its way into the region for the day today, pulling in moisture and bringing about much needed rain for everyone within the WSAZ viewing area. This shower and thunderstorm activity will look to begin taking a break toward the early and middle portions of the afternoon hours of today in areas along and north of I-64, with rain looking to continue in areas along and south of I-64.
