Full Disclosure- This is an opinion piece and the writer is actively working closely with the residents and owner of Yee Haw to help bring about solutions that help save the Village, and she worked for the Law Offices of Eugene Denson until April 2024, to help negotiate solutions to the abatement. On September 10, a notice appeared on the gate of the Yee Haw intentional community in Trinidad, signaling the county’s plans to move forward with an abatement originally issued in 2017.
