Aggressive base running and multiple home runs by the top-ten ranked Hortonville Polar Bears would have been the headliner of this contest. The Polar Bears pitcher Braylon Banter had other plans as he threw a perfect game against Appleton West at home on May 13. In 72 pitches, Branter sat down each of the Appleton West batters in a game where the Polar Bears bats started to come alive in the fourth inning as Broden Butzin hit a solo home run to center field to give Hortonville a 1-0 lead.
