    WREXHAM Bowman chairman Paul Davies is celebrating after breaking a UK record. Davies, who is the North Wales Archery Society’s chairman, was competing in the prestigious Silver Dollar Tournament, which returned to Croesoswallt Archers in Oswestry. After an eight-year hiatus, the tournament that was originally established in 1960 by North Wales Archery Society, took place where Davies broke the record in the Compound archer for 50+ Men’s American.

    The club has enjoyed a superb season in the North East Wales and Flintshire Junior Leagues with five of their teams enjoying title glory.
