The Indian Premier League has been suspended amid the escalation in conflict between India and Pakistan. This follows the decision to abandon the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala halfway through the first innings on Thursday following a blackout in the area. There are 12 games remaining in the league stage and the play-offs and the tournament was originally scheduled to finish with the final at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 25.
