ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Spotty and stray showers will be possible over the next three to four days. Rainfall amounts are expected to be minor for most locations. Rainfall Outlook: Stray showers will be possible Friday morning and early in the afternoon. Rainfall amounts for most locations on Friday will stay <0.10″. Another round of stray showers will be possible for the second half of Saturday and into Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts should stay <0.10″.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – After sunny skies and warm temperatures on Wednesday, stray rain chances return to the forecast through the next three to four days. Haze and smoke from wildfires in Canada will continue to push east over the next several days. Our air quality will continue to improve on Thursday and Friday. Most of the smoke and haze should move east of the Mississippi River Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – After the air quality reached the “unhealthy” stage for all groups on Tuesday, the air quality across the state should improve by Wednesday afternoon. “Air Quality Alerts” remain in effect until noon on Wednesday for Minnesota. The “Air Quality Alert” in Iowa is in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday. Air quality should quickly improve throughout the afternoon and evening on Wednesday. The AQI should sit in a “moderate” level for Wednesday and potentially on Thursday too.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Poor air quality will continue through the middle of the week and storms will return to the region on Tuesday. Air quality alerts continue for areas in dark gray until noon on Wednesday. AQI scores will be in the orange throughout Tuesday and the first half of Wednesday. Air quality could reach the unhealthy range for areas in red above. Stretching from Mankato to Minneapolis and up to Duluth.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Summer-like temperatures will continue this weekend with highs in the 80s. Smoke and haze from Canadian wildfires will impact the region this weekend too. Highs on Saturday will be in the low-to-middle 80s with mostly sunny skies. Winds will be out of the northwest around 5-10 mph. Highs on Sunday will bump to the middle and upper 80s with sunny skies. The smoke and the haze could hinder some high temperatures, with some locations staying below forecast high temperatures.
