By True Deck,Nick Noll Missouri softball's losing streak reached five after a 7-0 loss to No. 15 Mississippi State in the first of a three-game series Friday in Starkville, Mississippi. Mizzou had just two hits and committed four errors. Junior Cierra Harrison (9-7) took the loss, allowing four runs and five hits with one strikeout and one walk in five innings.

By True Deck,Nick Noll Mizzou softball extended its losing streak to five, as the Tigers were shut out in a 7-0 loss to No. 15 Mississippi State in Game 1 of a three-game series Friday in Starkville, Mississippi. Mizzou couldn't get much of anything going offensively, as it finished with two hits while committing four errors, one coming from first baseman Abby Hay, who made her second start since coming back from an injury she suffered March 18 against Illinois.
