A $73.6 million upgrade to Schneider Electric's Columbia plant will bring 241 jobs to the area and expand product production. Gov. Mike Kehoe and city and county leaders attended the groundbreaking Tuesday to celebrate and show their support. The investment is part of a $700 million push by Schneider Electric to support growth in the energy and artificial intelligence sectors, according to previous Missourian reporting.
