Vanderbilt lost a neutral site game to Drake by 11, finished under .500 in its conference, and still made the NCAA Tournament. Iowa scheduled a “neutral site” quad 3 with Wash St. last season. One quad 2 game vs. a Drake or UNI team with less resources would help more than hurt.
